Nick and Mitch have been friends for 10+ years, and built their friendship through high school marching band, hockey, and video games. As the friendship grew, they began making video content. In 2013, they started the Basss Ballas Youtube channel along with two other friends from high school. The channel had two massive videos; a Skyfall Re-enactment in GTAV (500,000+ views) and a music video for Redfoo, Party Train (800,000+ views).
In 2017, they founded their current channel, Nick & Mitch. Focusing on Ubisoft's STEEP, the duo created an eSports competition named The Tartiflette Games. Upon the project's success, the guys were invited to France to meet with Ubisoft developers and provide feedback on the game. Their work with the developers partially inspired the STEEP DLC "Road to the Olympics." The duo would then go on to shoutcast the RTTO tournament at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
Since then, they have moved their focus over to Ubisoft's newest extreme sports title, Riders Republic, where they continue to produce eSports events and weekly shows on the game and its community.
